Mark has been fascinated by book making from an early age. In high school he often hand bound and calligraphied his papers and reports, to his teachers’ delight and dismay.
In college in New Hampshire Mark worked for a PBS television studio. Later in New York he worked as an editor on a cable TV show. For the last 30 years Mark has been a teacher and then department chair at the Swedish Institute in New York City.
After creating over 12 Multi-Touch Books for the Swedish Institute (an Apple Distinguished School) he has branched out to help create books for a wider audience. He combines his love and fascination for teaching, presentation and movement to create books that stimulate kinesthetic, visual and auditory learners, that are engaging, fun and visually appealing.
